Once a Dream

When I was a boy, I discovered fashion. When I was a preteen, discovered Haute Couture and from that moment on, the Fashion World just got more and more inside of my life.
This year I opened up my own customized clothing company, officialized my work as personal stylist and finally started my life in this industry.

Once, fashion was just a dream, and now is part of my world.

This is not my favorite Fashion show ever, but is REALLY remarcable to me for so many reasons.
It’s a little long, but it’s extremely inspiring, with magnificent shapes, amazing handwork and great references.

Hope you’ll be inspired as I was.

Set Glamour to the Rain

I always loved rainy days. I’m always more creative, more nostalgic, get easily inspired…

Is always a good feeling when I see the sky slowly drops its tears with dark clouds and noisily scream with its thunders.

Theres also a romantic side in the rain that captivates me…
The romance is in the air, or maybe is the missing feeling of it, but I always got the feeling like being in a classic romantic movie.
The desire of be together, of dance in the rain, the need of write and love.
The rain brings me drama!

Once the rain gets you, you’re done!

Once you notice its beauty, its meaningless significance, you will feel like me… with a insane disposal to scream love out loud.

I hope you feel the same pleasure as I do!

This is a VERY special post, not just because rain means a lot to me…
But also because this is my post number 50!!!!!

And I only have to thank all of you followers, readers, friends for all the ideas and for always share your opinion with me!
I made friends with this blog, and I started to open myself to the world in a different way… But I could never do this without you!

Old School…

Today is all about my vintage soul.

My constant search for balance between classic and modern always made me think about where I came from and it always reminds me to look back!

And I LOVE to look back… To those Glory Days when glamour and Couture were laws and when perfection and romance dictated all the trends.

Well, I know my vision is totally romantic and unreal… But if I can’t dream with the past and its beauty I have no idea what would I dream about!!! (Yeah, I know, but is my major inspiration!!! haha)

This saturday is my birthday and this is my post #49, so.. My post #50 will come as a birthday goft for you! ^^

But today I’m sharing a huge part of me with vintage images that, as you already know, I LOVE!!!

Embroider Me

Once upon a time…
There was a little boy, flipping through a magazine…
When suddenly his eyes  stared the most beautiful things he have ever seen…
Pages full of embroideries.

Dazzled with the sparkle and the brilliance of those details
He opened his eyes to a whole new world of fantasy.

And, since that moment when he was 8 years old,
He became obsessed by embroideries.
By the magical way in which they are made…

And that was the day he started to love fashion!

 

Yeah… That’s my history! haha
I never understood why, but I felt so delighted, so captivated by the cristals, the sparkles, the care with the special sewing threads, the colors and the high difficulty of that work (in a way that I never felt again… yet) that I became a passionate.

I feel a passion and a need for Couture that I can’t express… Yes, I feel a little stupid saying that! hahaha

 

I could never do a post like this without Lesage’s embroideries…
But we lost François Lesage this year and I’ll make a post only about him!

I could never let my major inspiration to perfection out of this blog!

The Sexy Almost

Like Hadley Freeman said once “your fashion decisions have, at least once, been dictated by the opportunity of having sex”.
And indeed, I agree. If someone ever ask me what is the motivation for fashion designers I would easily say…

SEX!!!

I never known anyone who desired to be ugly… or dressed ugly. Never heard about one single person who didn’t want, at least, to looks good. Is a natural human instict to want to feel attractive.

Fashion is a heightened state of mind where your emotions and desires are increased to express your essence…

And nothing can exemplify better the human essence than sex.

Not a explicit sex, but the dance between two eyes, two mouths, two bodies in perfect tune conquesting each other with a harmonious combination of romance and wildness.

Labels, designers, stylists, photographers. Everyone uses sex as a way of expression but the pretiest ideas are about the “almost” moment and not about the “happening”.

Images that incites, that sharpen our imaginations are the best ones.

Maybe is an eye looking at you, a mouth smooking, a body form…

Is all about being sexy!

I always liked more the sexy photos then the sex ones. And that’s what I’m sharing with you today.

The most exciting side of sex is the moment before it really happens. All the magic, the tension.. Gosh, it kills me!

Shake It Out… with Glamour!

First I just couldn’t take this amazing song out of my head, and then I start to pay attention to Florence amazing outfits (like Elie Saab and Valentino dresses) and I needed to show you this.

MY FAV SONG IN THIS MOMENT OF MY LIFE…
SHAKE IT OUT – FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE (CEREMONIALS)

I was observing Florence Welch for a while and I must admit that she really unprove her wardrobes.

The song “Hurricane Drunk” inspired Frida Gianini to design Gucci’s Fall-Winter 2011/2012 Collection (G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S), and in return, Frida create all the outfits for Florence in her last tour.

And for finish… SHE SANG ON CHANEL SPRING-SUMMER 2012 FASHION SHOW AND I DEEPLY FELL IN LOVE FOR HER!

Done, I’ll keep my two eyes on her because we can definitely expect much more from her!

PS: What about that amazing Chanel collection inspired in the seas? I love white, blue, black and nude, that said, is very easy to understand why this is my favorite Chanel’s collection in a long, long time! Also I really think that the designs are just amazing in this collection (and waaaay wearable than the last collection).
