Shake It Out… with Glamour!

First I just couldn’t take this amazing song out of my head, and then I start to pay attention to Florence amazing outfits (like Elie Saab and Valentino dresses) and I needed to show you this.

MY FAV SONG IN THIS MOMENT OF MY LIFE…
SHAKE IT OUT – FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE (CEREMONIALS)

I was observing Florence Welch for a while and I must admit that she really unprove her wardrobes.

The song “Hurricane Drunk” inspired Frida Gianini to design Gucci’s Fall-Winter 2011/2012 Collection (G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S), and in return, Frida create all the outfits for Florence in her last tour.

And for finish… SHE SANG ON CHANEL SPRING-SUMMER 2012 FASHION SHOW AND I DEEPLY FELL IN LOVE FOR HER!

Done, I’ll keep my two eyes on her because we can definitely expect much more from her!

PS: What about that amazing Chanel collection inspired in the seas? I love white, blue, black and nude, that said, is very easy to understand why this is my favorite Chanel’s collection in a long, long time! Also I really think that the designs are just amazing in this collection (and waaaay wearable than the last collection).

My Heart Goes BOOM – A very special “Thinking Of…”

Just 2 little words…

ELIE SAAB

I just…
I have no words to express how Elie Saab’s creations touch me!
Is deeper than I can say, I always feel like floating on ethereal emotions of a high state of joy after watch his fashion show’s.
I don’t know if it happens because of the music or is the soft movements of those well selected models that enchants me… My only certainty is that I always L.O.V.E to see what Saab will bring us…

OK, I ADMIT! I JUST LOVE TO SEE THE WAY THE DRESSES MOVES, LIKE SOFT CLOUDS OF SILK, LACE AND SEQUINS FLYING OVER THE RUNWAY WHILE EMBRACE THE MODEL BODY.

Everything in his Haute Couture Collection is about PERFECTION. The selection of fabrics, the patterns and laces, the handmade embroidery, the combination of materials, the fit always favoring a woman forms…

I don’t know about you, but the collection talks to me! Is like look into the eyes of a lynx, you just can’t stop looking because that’s enchanting you.

They talk about beauty and a indescribable (guiltless) pleasure. They tell me about a world of magic, love and freedom, about a endless search for excellence and they mostly tell me about a insatiable journey to find knowledge of wathever I feel I need.

(YEAH, SOMETIMES I THINK I’M CRAZY!)

One thing that always make me feel happy is the back of the dresses, always different, always detailed and never forget (a lot of designers don’t think about the backs and just do anything to fill the space).

I posted only a few of my favorites, but you NEED/ SHOULD/ HAVE TO watch the video with the entire Elie Saab’s Autumn/Winter 2012 Haute Couture Collection. Only watching the video to feel the sensibility and the magic of this incredible designer!!!!

I Hope you got floating like I am right now! Have an AMAZING DAY!!

(this next is my FAVORITE of the whole collection)

XOXO

Studded with Colors – Jewel Tones

We are almost in next season (DON’T BOTHER ME, I’m not ready for next yet), and we can’t avoid the massive atack of winter clothes that all the stores show us!
Come on, you already know what fashion will bring us next, but, as this trend is my new baby love, I need to show you my point of view of…

COLOR BLOCK FOR WINTER!

Ok, Every year is the same…
Bold and bright colors for summer, tons of white things, fresh everywhere and, when winter comes, the colors get in gray shades.

Oh well, color blocking couldn’t run fast enough to ecape that “law”, so from now on the great trend are jewel and gem tones for our fashionista wardrobe. What? You don’t like it? Is that right? OK, I think is (miles away) easier to administer these new shades that those primary colors we were used to all over the summer.

As an amazing alternative to the basic black, can be worn in a head-to-toe outfit (THAT I LOVE AND COMPLETELY AGREE WITH THE ALTERNATIVE, even because with this palettes is hard to look “cheesy” than with that bold ones of last seasons).

“With names like amethyst, sapphire, emerald, ruby, garnet and citrine – these hues have the power to make you feel rich and sophisticated.
While there was plenty of black to be seen on the catwalks, it was peppered with striking colours that dazzled in their desirability, just like real-life gems.”
From British Vogue

Particularly, I was almost sad because bold colors was coming to their “Doomsday” (and still think that this day will come soon), but I really agree that gem colors are much more wearable than those others..

OK I ADMIT, I LOVE COLORS! I LOVE COLORS WITH SEQUINS, I LOVE BOLD COLORS WITH FUR,  WITH FEATHERS AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT HAVE SPARKLE! Gosh,  I said it!

We can still se some bites of bold tones, but not a whole outfit, just some pieces to “UP” your look, or an amazing one-piece with a dark shade in it..

SORRY IF I LEFT YOU IN THE DARK, AND I PROMISE TO BE MORE DISCIPLINED TO KEEP MY THINGS AND THIS BLOG IN ORDER!!!
I’ll try to post every week as I used to do and will always be open to your suggestions and comments 😉

LOVE YOU ALL! THANK YOU for not abandoning me during these tough times.
