Studded with Colors – Jewel Tones

We are almost in next season (DON’T BOTHER ME, I’m not ready for next yet), and we can’t avoid the massive atack of winter clothes that all the stores show us!
Come on, you already know what fashion will bring us next, but, as this trend is my new baby love, I need to show you my point of view of…

COLOR BLOCK FOR WINTER!

Ok, Every year is the same…
Bold and bright colors for summer, tons of white things, fresh everywhere and, when winter comes, the colors get in gray shades.

Oh well, color blocking couldn’t run fast enough to ecape that “law”, so from now on the great trend are jewel and gem tones for our fashionista wardrobe. What? You don’t like it? Is that right? OK, I think is (miles away) easier to administer these new shades that those primary colors we were used to all over the summer.

As an amazing alternative to the basic black, can be worn in a head-to-toe outfit (THAT I LOVE AND COMPLETELY AGREE WITH THE ALTERNATIVE, even because with this palettes is hard to look “cheesy” than with that bold ones of last seasons).

“With names like amethyst, sapphire, emerald, ruby, garnet and citrine – these hues have the power to make you feel rich and sophisticated.
While there was plenty of black to be seen on the catwalks, it was peppered with striking colours that dazzled in their desirability, just like real-life gems.”
From British Vogue

Particularly, I was almost sad because bold colors was coming to their “Doomsday” (and still think that this day will come soon), but I really agree that gem colors are much more wearable than those others..

OK I ADMIT, I LOVE COLORS! I LOVE COLORS WITH SEQUINS, I LOVE BOLD COLORS WITH FUR,  WITH FEATHERS AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT HAVE SPARKLE! Gosh,  I said it!

We can still se some bites of bold tones, but not a whole outfit, just some pieces to “UP” your look, or an amazing one-piece with a dark shade in it..

SORRY IF I LEFT YOU IN THE DARK, AND I PROMISE TO BE MORE DISCIPLINED TO KEEP MY THINGS AND THIS BLOG IN ORDER!!!
I’ll try to post every week as I used to do and will always be open to your suggestions and comments 😉

LOVE YOU ALL! THANK YOU for not abandoning me during these tough times.

The Little (Perfect) Black Dress

When a girl starts to look for a love, she realises that nothing is as easy as it seems.
She will miss a lot, will hang over with the wrong guys, maybe fall in love for a while but discover that wasn’t real love, meet new boys (maybe girls too), discover things she never thought about…

Until she finds THE ONE!

All the mistakes she made, also all the rights make her to create a sense and a maturity that guide her to a real love.

THE LOOKING FOR A LBD IS JUST LIKE THAT!!!

You know you need one, but until you find it you’ll hang out with the wrong style and fit.

A LBD don’t need explanation, just images!

And this wouldn’t be a G.F.D. with regular dresses, right?

LUV YOU!! 😉

Gone With the Leopard

I never told this to anyone else before. I was afraid of what would people say, but I can’t control it anymore…

I LOVE ANIMAL PRINTS!!

Oh God, I said that! What? Am I not the onl one????

YEEEEEE!!! But I always know that, I just needed a bit of drama in this post!

There’s a fierce factor in all animal prints!
Confinance, power, luxury, passion, drama
Everything is maximized when a woman wear it!

It’s a trend for next year, but I guess animals never were out.

Yeah, yeah, Yves and Dior were the greates percusros of all animal prints, but I really L.O.V.E the way Cavalli shows it!
Actually he is the designer who most use it. His brightest dresses had at least one detail in animal-prints.

Dresses, suits, pants, scarves, shoes…
Aptions are uncountable if you want to be a safari girl, but I’m warning you:

ONCE YOU START IT, YOU’LL NEVER STOP!

Don’t be afraid of try it out. There to many people saying this is over, but we know it will never ends.

I love this eternal trend, and hope you start to like it too. 😉

Thanks to my dear friend Giovanna for the idea!
